Practising law in Ontario since 1989
Choosing a lawyer is a personal decision. You need someone who understands what is at stake, explains your options plainly and gives you a clear recommendation about the next steps.
Thomas J. MacLennan has practised in Toronto since 1989. Family law is the core of his practice: separation and divorce, parenting, support and property. He also acts in estates and civil litigation, including cases where family and estates law meet, such as a surviving spouse’s property election and dependants’ support claims.
What you can expect
Personal attention. You work directly with Thomas, who explains your options and guides your matter personally, from the first meeting through its resolution.
Straight advice. He explains the issues, the information needed and your realistic options, including the costs and risks of each.
Representation in and out of court. Thomas represents clients in negotiation, mediation, arbitration and court. The approach depends on the issues, the available evidence and your priorities.
